Mass Effect 5: "Shepard is Alive" - Analyzing the N7 Day Teaser

This year's N7 Day brought more than just concept art. Bioware released a short, static-filled audio log that has the community in a frenzy. When the audio is cleaned up and reversed, a familiar voice—Liara T'Soni—can be heard speaking to a Geth unit.

"The Council will be furious... although, they should know by now not to underestimate human defiance." This line, coupled with the visual of an N7 helmet piece found in the snow, strongly suggests that Commander Shepard survived the events of Mass Effect 3.

The "Destroy" Ending Canon?

If Shepard is alive, it likely canonizes the "Destroy" ending (High EMS), where Shepard is seen taking a breath in the rubble. However, the presence of Geth suggests a twist—perhaps the Geth were rebuilt, or a faction survived the red beam.
