Palworld Breeding: The Ultimate Jetragon Guide
Jetragon is the fastest mount and arguably the strongest Pal in Palworld. But a wild Jetragon is just the baseline. To unlock its true potential (thousands of attack power and mach speed), you need to breed it. This process involves passing down specific "Passive Skills" from parents to offspring.
The goal is to create a Jetragon with the "God Roll" traits: Legend, Divine Dragon, Musclehead, and Ferocious.
The Mechanics of Inheritance
When you breed two Pals, the child has a chance to inherit traits from both parents. However, unwanted traits (trash traits) can also pass down. The golden rule of breeding is purity. You want parents that have only the traits you want to pass down, and nothing else.
Note: Jetragon is a Legendary Pal. It can only be bred by pairing a Male Jetragon with a Female Jetragon. You cannot cross-breed other species to get a Jetragon.
Step-by-Step Breeding Chain
Step 1: Catching the Parents
You need to catch multiple wild Jetragons (Boss Level 50) in the volcanic region. Keep
catching them until you find:
- One with Divine Dragon (and preferably nothing else bad).
- One with Musclehead or Ferocious.
- Note: All wild Jetragons come with the Legend trait guaranteed.
Step 2: Isolating Traits
Breed your wild Jetragons together. Your goal is to get offspring that have 2 or 3 of the
desired traits with NO junk traits.
Example Goal: A Male with [Legend, Musclehead] and a Female with [Divine
Dragon, Ferocious].
Step 3: The Final Fusion
Put your two optimized parents in the Breeding Farm. Supply them with Cake. Incubate the
eggs.
The probability of getting all 4 traits (Legend + Divine Dragon + Musclehead +
Ferocious) is roughly 10% if the parents have no junk traits.
Cake Farming Optimization
You will need hundreds of cakes. Do not buy the ingredients; farm them.
- Mozzarina: Milk
- Chikipi: Eggs
- Beegarde: Honey (Essential, prevents cake production stops)
- Wheat/Berries: Plantations
Use a Jormuntide Ignis with "Artisan" and "Serious" traits to cook the cakes instantly.
Comments
It took me 124 eggs to get the perfect roll, but it was worth it. One rocket launcher shot does 5k damage now.
